LETTERS TO RUSTIC KENNELS

Below you can read some of the letters so far we have posted, many more to come..

Hello there Angela...I would be more than happy to help in any way regarding Julie and swabs...I would again like to say that Julie is one of the best behaved dogs I have ever met...and I can't help but think she had to have been well taken care of...I am by no means on the 'bad side' of opinions and rustic kennels...someone sold me a very good dog...I have yet to get any facts and have noticed that since I asked for the facts...every big mouth cowarded away...the bashing site has been closed and nobody took advantage of my e-mail addy to forward any facts...I hope this will all come to a positive end for you...hope that the vet records issue will be resolved...any thing I can help with please let me know....VERY SATISFIED WITH MY RUSTIC DOG....Lee-Ann

Angela - just a quick update - don't know if you've received any of our previous emails as we've not received a reply.  Suka (Rhina) is doing well in her new home.  Baby Jet was born Nov. 12 and was greeted with lots of gentle curiosity and attempted licks.  I think she's a bit unhappy about not being the baby of the house anymore but all-in-all she's adjusted well.  People continue to compliment us on her excellent behaviour and pleasing demeanour.  She attends doggie-daycare from time to time for extra socialization (what a fantastic difference) and has gone to school for Obedience level one though we missed the last class due to the arrival of our baby son.

Hi Angela,
We just got home from the airport and wanted to let you know Cassie is here and safe. She's getting familiar with the house and the kids. She is so friendly (quite a ham for the camera already) and has a very gentle mouth. God she's beautiful! Awesome color... When she perks up her ears and strikes a pose I get goose bumps. We took alot of pictures today so I'll send some soon. Thank you Angela, She's just what I dreamed of.

I think the head of Aragorn is a top tipical corso's head. Trust me, I could become Italian Champion VERY FAST!!!
And of course it is evident he has Dyrium blood, expecially from the espression.
Congrats!

Thanks Angela,
Yes we are so happy with Strykker and the lines he comes from, in my opinion are uncomparable, as I'm seeing far too many Corsi that don't look like the original "Authentic Rustic Warrior" that yours portray, and back it up with their drives and temperaments! What you have over there is only what others breeders can dream of, and we are so proud to own a dog with this kind of lineage!
Don't feel foolish(about Kenya), as there are many people in this crazy society that take advantage of nice people like you. You can be so careful in your screening of potential owners, and have a lot of trust, however their is just too many people with no morals and bad ethics!
The only thing these people breed is ENVY, and these people in my experience get what's coming to them, and most times with unfortunate forthcomings, so as they say "What comes around, goes around" Don't worry Angela, you will get your Kenya back, and this lady will get what's coming to her!!!
Lookin' forward to seeing Strykkers updated pics on your website!
Maybe we will visit, when you have those new pups that are compatible with Strike, as I should use my air miles one of these days! I will let you know ahead of time.

Good luck and keep in touch,

hello Angela ,

i saw your amazing corso Aragorn and i must say that i like very much his type and also he has a very good blood-line "Dyrium" , in my opinion dyrium is the best blood line ever , and i saw that Aragorn is also a good reproducer , you have available frozen sem ( useable alwais) from Aragorn ? and what is the cost?

 ciao , denis

Hello Angela,

we want to thank you again for the visit we have done to your place last week.
We have been really pleased to meet you and felt happy about what we saw.
.... our parents loved the pictures and the video we took!

Actually, we are getting ready for her arrival... we bought her collar, leash, bowls, brush, toys, etc!
I founded a place to get my Eagle Pack from; and I am still looking for the places where we will show her! (busy, busy!!)

Could you please tell me the size of cage (?? french word, maybe should I use "crate") you recommend for our girl?

Thank you very much (again)!

Rustic Kennels,

My wife and I have been keeping a close eye on your upcoming breedings and are amazed at the puppies you have.  We have wanted a corso for two years now and have looked at more websites than should be allowed.  In doing so, we have come to know exactly what we want, and there are few out there offering it.  You have the puppies we have been looking for.  When I first became interested in this breed, I loved it's history of being a work dog, but very few people emphasized this, other than protection.  Since running across your kennel, it has peaked my interest in training a shutzhund dog.  Anyway, as I said, we are very interested in your puppies and wanted to open the lines of communication with you.

One of the questions that I hope you can answer for me is how the adoption process works, step by step.  Also, and this might be stupid, are your prices in Canadian money, and if so what do they work out to in US dollars?  How wold shipping work?  Could we get ear cropping by Rhino's vet?  His look the best....Is that done by head type, or work being performed?  What are your payment plans?  Are you having more breedings this year?  We really like the grey male from Kenya.  I am not particular about color but I really want a male corso.  I won't keep you any longer, since you have puppies to socialize but please do write us or call with any information you can. Thank you.

I am so excited to see your new puppies!!  As Rich has said, we have been researching these dogs for two years and are thrilled with your kennel.  We feel very confident that a puppy from your kennel will be the perfect addition to our family.  We are looking for a dog that will love to learn and be a great family dog too.  We have a 2& 1/2 year old that LOVES big dogs.  She likes to rough house & even likes getting knocked over :-)  We are so excited about becoming Corso owners-we really feel that this breed is perfect for us!  I am a stay-at-home mom & I have always had a passion for animals, but specifically the big dogs (I grew up with Saint Bernard show dogs).  I am eager to get to raise a puppy and to teach it new things.  I have always loved training & hope to find a dog that is as eager to learn!
Thank you for your time & we hope to talk with you soon!

Hello Angela,

I thought I would take a minute to give you an update on Hades. This dog is a MACHINE. In everything he learns he does it 110%. Seriously, he IS the ultimate dog. I try to keep his bitework sessions short to encourage him to go all out, but he just doesn't want to stop until he is exhausted. Hades will jump up and hang, mid-air from the springpole. Considering he weighs 120 pounds at a year old, that is quite the feat. We are starting on some hog catching, which is a lot of fun. Not only does he hold, but he can track them too. I love everything about this dog. Verbal corrections are all that is ever needed, he just aims to please. Its not just performance either. Everywhere I go people stop to ask me about him. Quite the show stopper. The dog is always alert, has amazing natural tone, and stays very lean. I bought him a very nice carpet mill for his first birthday, and I cannot wait to see what he looks like six months from now. His protective instincts are very prominent, and are getting more pronounced as he gets older. NO ONE can come onto the property without his say so. Its his and he knows it. Anyway, I'll quit rambling for now. But I really wanted you to know how happy I am with him (and how happy he is with us) and with Rustic. I will be contacting you again in the near future for another Cane Corso. Thank you so much.

Hi Angela you probably dont remember me but my name is Abiona Collins I
bought a puppy from your Kenya/Aragorn litter you knew him as onyx we
named
him Rumble.  Anyway I wanted to give you my new address ,  Rumble is doing great he
just
turned 2 at the end of March I will send you some pics  when i get
around to
getting  all the film around the house developed, time there never

the

eyes open for.   talk to you soon.    Abiona Collins

Angela,
I just thought I'd let you know that everything is working out
great
with the puppy (Ruger) we got from you.  I know we called about a week
after
we brought him home because of some problems.  The next day we moved
his
crate to a different part of the house and that made all the
difference.
After that he's been sleeping through the night no problem.  He's also
very
well behaved and knows quite a few commands now.
Anyway, he's growing really fast (over 40 lbs now, is that about
right?),
and we get all kinds of
compliments from people...even the vet is very impressed.
Here's a picture from about 6 weeks ago

Angela,

Here are some pictures of Strykker at 9 months old in the first stages of his protection training, he exudes confidence in training aswell as all aspects of his life. Strykker has the perfect temperment for training aswell as an amazing demeanour with dogs and children. I can personally tell you that Stan and his family are more than impressed with Strykker,  If there is one dog that we train at Ultimate K-9 Bodyguards that I would be proud to say is "The Man" (when my rottwweiler "Rock" retires anyway!!) it will be Strykker.

Hello,

I just visited your website and your Cane Corso's are magnificent. I am looking for a Cane Corso male for show purposes and possible breeding. I am only interested in a dog from the pure Italian lines, as yours are. I have been searching for quite some time now and have only found dogs with so much of the "American" lines. I want a "true" Cane Corso and I'm hoping you can help me find the perfect dog for me.

Thank you in advance,

Lisa Wallace

THANKS SO MUCH FOR LETTING US VISIT YOUR HOME........WE REALLY ENJOYED IT.....YOUR DOGS ARE ALL WONDERFUL.....WE ARE INTERESTED IN POSSIBLE PURCHASING 2 DOGS FROM YOU....WE WOULD STILL LIKE A BLUE SHOW MALE, IF THAT HAPPENS TO WORK WITH YOUR UPCOMING LITTERS AND WE ARE VERY INTERESTED IN A BLACK SHOW MALE FROM KENYA WHEN AND IF YOU BREED HER AGAIN...........WE WOULD LIKE TO SEND YOU ANOTHER DEPOSIT FOR A POSSIBLE FUTURE LITTER WITH KENYA...LET US KNOW IF THAT IS O.K.......ALSO YOUR FRIENDS NAME SLIPPED OUR MIND, BUT THANK HER FOR DRIVING US BACK TO OUR HOTEL......WE WOULD HAVE NOT MADE OUR FLIGHT BACK TO BOSTON WITHOUT HER...THANKS AGAIN

KIM & JOE

Hi Angela, nice meeting you and you're beautiful dogs last night. Like Myself and Sarah said we would love to have one of you're pups from you're December litter. We both think we can provide a loving caring home for you're dog and give it more than enough attention love and care that it needs. Just a reminder that we are looking for a grey male preferably if not a black male , both the size of Aragon or Rhino!!! Thanks for meeting with us and spending the time with us we both appreciate it. Looking forward to hearing from you  and having one of you're puppies in the near future. Thanks again. Sarah and Paul

I am attaching a picture of Gunner for You to see.I am
sure i am bias, but he is going to be one beautiful
dog.He is so far the most pleasant dog i have ever
had. We laugh and joke saying we should have named him happy!

thanks Bobbi

Hello Angela,
It's been a little while, since we talked, so this may be a bit
long. How are you and your family? How about those awesome specimens you
have there? They all look great and by the way, we love your new web
page, very classy and nice! I hope every thing is fine. We can't explain
in words how much we love Strykker, he is just everything we hoped and
dreamed for in a dog. We are truly very sorry, we did not get back to
you sooner. Since we've got Strykker we have just been so busy with our
company and our move to the Acreage. In fact when we moved at the end
of July, I somehow misplaced the contract papers for Strykker and it
was not until recently I came across them, so I apologize for any
inconvenience and delay. I'm sure you know what it's like to move.
Anyway we moved just on the outskirts of Calgary, to the country
life in Chestermere Lake, Alberta, about 10 minutes from the city. The
dogs love it here, roaming around free most of the day! The parcel I
bought has a nice big shop on it, so I have set up a training facility so
I can run my business year round. Since we moved the business has just
been booming and the dogs keep coming for the training. Strykker just
loves all the attention he gets from my clientele, as most of them have
never even heard of Cane Corso. Everyone just falls in love with him,
and are quite taken by his beauty, size and uniqueness. Strykker was
weighing in around 90 pounds a few weeks ago at 6.5 months. He is the
same height(28") and weight as my 7 year old Doberman, and catching up
quickly to the other one who is around 100 pounds.
Every time my clients see him, they comment that it looks like he
puts on 20pounds per week. When I take the dogs into town, I am just
amazed at how many people stare at them, and especially when they come
up and ask what kind of dogs the Cane's are. When I requested, I was
looking for a good working dog, Angela you matched me up with something
so perfect, I don't think I could have got better. All the qualities
that make a good working dog, and a suitable candidate for Ultimate K-9
Bodyguards, Strykker possesses. I'm sure he'll be the new poster boy
for my company. Right from the time we got him, he had such a good
temperament. He is awesome with our kids and their friends. No hostility
towards other dogs, he likes to get the Dobies going though by growling
and barking right in there ears with his thunderous barks, they just
give him a warning snap and he's right back in there face, that little
brat(well maybe big brat). He also likes to really get rough and tumble
with the 11 month old male Cane Corso(Rocco) that I'm kenneling here
for training. They especially like to go hard, but both know their
limits. I'm especially amazed at high how Strykker throws his body in the
air when they are playing, so agile for a big dog, almost cat-like
movement.
Another reason we've been busy is we've taken on a rescue Cane
Corso. She is a 110pound 4 year old spayed female named Mya. Strykker
and her also play till the days end. It's funny but I really think they
know their own breed, cause they all play differently then they do with
other dogs. Back to Strykker's temperament though, we also have a 1.5
year old Miniature Pincher/Chihuahua cross that is 2 pounds. Strykker
is fond of her, however I don't think the feeling is mutual, but thats
okay cause she still puts up with him and you know how Anci those
little toy breeds are. But thats about where the niceness stops!!!! When
someone comes to the acreage unannounced, dog or human, he turns into
something different, something that even gives me chills up my spine and
I've been training guard dogs for quite some time. There is definitely
a different look about him when he is in that "guard mode", unlike many
of your usual protection breeds. He can definitely already tell a
friend from a foe. That natural aversion to strangers thing they say about
Cane's definitely shows up in him, and he was doing this since he was 4
months old! I could also tell he had great prey drive as he would
chase the sleeve and hang onto it and shake it up when I was trying to put
it away. He was just 3 months old coming and watching the classes at
that time. After that I never really worked with him besides playing
tug, until recently when I had one of my agitators working Rocco, ask if
he could see if he get any reaction out of Strykker. This being
because it was Rocco's 8th class and we still could not even get a bark out
of him, unusual I thought for a Cane Corso, claiming to be imported
straight out of Italy. Anyhow I geared up Strykker for the agitation and
said lets see. As the agitator was hiding behind a corner, I told
Strykker "Watch him, geblat", and to my amazement he was growling, hackles
on his back, and deep loud barks before even seeing the agitator, just
from the noise of the clatter stick. When the agitator did come out,
Strykker had already hit the end of the long leash, barking and lunging
and definitely scaring the heck out of the agitator. We had done this a
few times and each time Strykker would get more serious. Now when we
do it, Strykkers already fired up and knows whats going on, however we
have never used the sleeve with him yet, as I believe they should only
start biting at a minimum of 9 months old. After the agitation is over,
he still has a calm and stable temperament, a good switch. We are
really happy though as most male dogs at this age, aren't half as serious
as him. We definitely would encourage anybody looking for a " true"
Cane Corso to be directed to Rustic as I believe your dogs are a true
testament to the old Italian bloodlines you use, not sacrificing any
working qualities for the show ring as many others have in this day and age.
Finally, rest assured we will do the upmost to make sure Strykker is
true ambassador of the breed and of Rustic Kennels.
I have just shipped off the package containing the contract, and
enclosed are some pictures with family as a pup and in different stages
up till now(7 months old). Once again thank-you very, very much for
such a wonderful dog! Take care and hope to hear from you soon!

I just thought Id give you an update. I named my pup Hades. He is just about the toughest pup I have ever seen. LOL Not gun shy at all. We went prairie dog shooting and he didn’t flinch or whine once, even when we broke out the big guns to target shoot. He got a cactus stuck in his paw, and it didn’t bother him. Not even when I pulled it out. He follows me around everywhere, and is starting on some puppy bite work, obedience, and tracking (his favorite). He can sit and lay, and he's starting to do it even when I don’t have a treat for him. J  Definitely a good eater. LOL I've got him on an all natural diet, and boy does he like chicken. Basically anything raw. He turns his nose up at regular dog food. Maybe I'm spoiling him a bit. He's starting to figure out the bite work game. He just wont let go of the tug. Nothing really bothers him. He's a pretty dominant pup, even to adult dogs. I cant tell you how happy I am with him and your kennel in general. Thank you so much. Ill be sending some pictures soon.

Dear Angela,

My wife and I have been researching the Cane Corso breed for about a year now. We recently attended our first dog show (Rarities) in New Jersey during the Labor Day weekend.  We all had a great time, especially our ten-month old son and were able to meet some good, knowledgeable people.

I have to say that you have the most impressive-looking Cane Corsos that I’ve ever seen. I find myself constantly going back to your website to admire your beautiful dogs. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for providing such a great and informative website. You have already been a lot of help. If you could recommend any good Cane Corso books in English it would be greatly appreciated.

We are not yet ready to get a Cane Corso as both my wife and I currently work and we are both away from home for most of the day. I know that we do not have the time to give this majestic breed the attention that it deserves and needs. In the meantime, we will continue to learn as much about the breed as possible as we would one day truly love to own one.

I noticed on your website that you will be coming stateside this month. We would love to see your dogs. Please let us know if you will be around the New York, New Jersey or Connecticut area. Keep up the good work!

Sincerely,

Edgar & Aimee Miralles

Ms. Canning,

My name is Ryan Brennan and I am a 21 year old, 3rd year student at Brock University studying Community Health Sciences.  I breed reptiles and have been for 3 years now and consider herpeculture my all time passion.  Two years ago I was able to lay my eyes on my first Cane Corso while working for the Town of Markham, and least to say the dog was incredible.  I was a little intimidated by the dog however the owner could have been a breeder for years because she spoke of the breed with such high admirations.  I just wanted to let you know that I have been reading and learning more on the dogs and your website and can't wait to own my first.  However, I am a student and will not consider owning one until I can fully afford it and be able to give it a proper and healthy lifestyle.  I wanted to tell you this as I hope to get a Cane Corso from you!  Keep up the outstanding work and I look forward to meeting you in about 2 years.

Thanks for your time,

Ryan Brennan

Hi Angela,

Just thought I'd give you an update on the puppy.  I did call a

couple of times on Saturday and on Sunday and left messages, but I'm sure

you were quite busy!  Anyhow he did arrive on time and in safe

condition, well kinda of.  When the Air Canada Cargo rep. was bringing Strykker

out from the back, she said the handle came of the kennel and she

dropped him.  When we took him out, either he was stunned from the shock of

being dropped or just out of it from jet lag, cause he didn't move and

he seemed a little sore under the front legs or chest area.  We

immediately took him outside to get some fresh air, and he seem to come

around.  Oh my god, what a beautiful creature,  Tammy, the kids and I were

stunned!!  He is just truly awesome, and his color is exactly the color I

wanted from day one!  He looks so much like Aragorn, and that's what I

really, really wanted!  We just can't believe how impressive he is

already, with that big chest and thick shoulders.  I've never seen anything

like it, he's amazing, and I've seen my share of big impressive

protection breed puppies.  I'd have to say, the closest thing I've ever seen

that impressive was a male NEO puppy, but I think Strykker is better!!

Tammy can't believe how much he resembles a tiger or a panther in

movement, and how quick reflexes he has!!  She keeps saying he is the

cutest thing she's ever seen.  Then there is his awesome temperament,  he

just looooves the kids, I can definitely tell you spend some quality time

socializing the pups as they grow, it's quite obvious.  He also gets

along great with my big Dobe boys and the female American Bulldog, I

think she is already trying to be the big mom with him, and it's just so

cute.  Strykker also loves our little 2 lb Minpin/Chihuahua, they

antagonize each other and it's quite funny. His puppy temperament tests proved

excellent. He  has excellent drive, as he can tug with the best of them

already and is very quick to chase. His reaction to surprise noise

didn't even phase him, and he was very alert, inquisitive and investigative

to the rattlers and other noisemakers. He's doing things, I've never

seen puppies do at 10weeks old, such as picking up big toys and throwing

them around like they were nothing. He is already so agile and so

strong, two qualities I love in a good working dog, plus his energy level

seems to be around mid level, (not too high strung and not too

docile)which is ideal for a potential protection (bodyguard) candidate.  You

totally satisfied everything we requested for: temperament, size

,conformation and amazingly even color.  We can't thank you enough Angela for

meeting our needs, I know Strykker will adapt just nicely into our family.

We want to thank you ever so much in choosing him for us, cause I

think you made the perfect match in what we were looking for,

especially after researching the breed for almost two years and talking with

several breeders.  Were so glad to have found you and a definite plus we

bought in our home country, it's nice to buy Canadian!!  You have made

this whole thing such a pleasant and wonderful experience, and also very

helpful, it's nice to see in this day and age when everything revolves

around the almighty buck, their are still  people like you who care

about the breed more than the dollar!!!

By the way I love the new pictures and titles of the pups in your

Past Pups section.  We will send you some updates and pictures as

Strykker matures.

     Again thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for everything.

Angela.,

How are you sweetie! I just had to drop you a line, to say thank you

for

Marcvs Avrelivs, when i read all those lunatics that post of these Cane

Corso forums, I thank God for having found you, you are a person with

such

integrity, and when i think of how wonderful and helpful you always

made

yourself to be to answer any of my questions, and what a wonderful dog

Marcvs is turning out to be i just had to write you and tell you thank

you,

everybody has a million complains about their breeder and i just sit

back

and read ... and smile until my face hurts - - -

for you are really wonderful

GV- Dimitra Marcvs and Ciotto

BTW

Marcvs is a very very lean 118 LBS,, you would be proud of him, he is a

very

good boy

He has been amazing in almost every respect so far. He was great on the long ride home. What ever you did to get him used to the crate worked. He considers his crate his home and goes there all the time by himself for naps or to play with his toys We shut the door at night and he is allready sleeping through the night with no fuss at all. Nothing seems to phase him. Debbie vacuums with a beater bar all around him and he doesnt even flinch. I started up the lawn mower not realizing he was laying quite near. He looked at it and yawned. He is happy go lucky and has no fear. He has learned to come and to sit with literally zero time spent to teach him.  We are happy and proud of our boy and cant wait to show him off. Thanks again for the dog and all your patience with our visits and questions. Rustic is number one.  Terry and Debbie

Hi Angela

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how Lucia is

doing.

She has adjusted very well. She loves going to work with me. I can't

believe

how quickly she housebroke, in less than 4 days she started to go to

the door.

she starts training next week but she knows all the basic command

already,

she even walks well on the leash. My family thanks you for such a

wonderful dog.

she has fit in so well its like we've always had her here with us. I

will send you pictures soon.

take care

Michelle

(regards to a cane corso rescue from new jersery named stella)

Hi Angela, it was a real pleasure meeting you, your husband and son a few weeks ago.

I haven't been able to bring myself to write you for awhile.  It has been a big adjustment for us and we all went through several sad days.

I'm very interested to know how Stella is doing.  Has she been able to adjust to her new home?  Has she been okay with your other dogs?  How is her leg doing?  Has she had any seizures?  Is that enough questions?  Sorry, I just can't stop thinking and worrying about her.

I forgot to tell you she likes to chew alot, but I'm sure you figured that out.  You really have an incredible understanding of dogs and especially this breed.  Again, we want to thank-you for rescuing Stella the way you did.  We have her files, bowls and some chewies we were hoping to drop off September 21st or 22nd.

Is there any organization or website we can post a note on what happened so this may not happen to other people who think of dealing with them?

By the way those fresh vegetables were delicious and MAN were those peppers HOT...we loved them, thanks again.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Sincerely,

Kathryn

Hey Angela,

Thanx again for the pup.  Payton is doing quite well, you raise wonderful dogs.

Cheers,

Adam Weeks

Hello Angela,

Thank you for the kind words on the BB.

This is the first time I have seen pictures of your male Aragorn. It is difficult to evaluate a dog from photos, but from what I see he is VERY nice. Good luck with him. Is he of your breeding, if so what is his lineage?

Michael E

The dogs on your website are amongst the most beautiful Corso's I have ever seen.

I have had the pleasure of buying a Cane Corso from Angela Canning Rustic Kennels

From the get go Angela was very friendly and willing to give any info she could offer about the breed (and it was alot of good info) and your choice on buying a pup.

I had researched for about 6 months on the Corso and was pointed in the direction of Rustic kennels by a mutal dog lover. After talking with Angela i went up for a visit and i was very pleased with what i saw and what she had to offer as a breeder and dog lover. She is very careful on who she selects to own a CC and takes the time to get to know the person interersted which i think is great.

I`am in Touch with Angela all the time and and she has been a wondrful person to deal with she is not only there for the money like some breeders , she is there for the breed and the people intrested in owning one.

I believe that Rustic Kennels is One of the best kennles out there for the CC breed I will be getting another CC in the future from Rustic Kennels and i would not think about going anywhere else i have found what i like.

I wish Angela nothing but the best in the future and i know that she will produce alot of champion dogs and mine will be one of them!

 Hello  Ms. Canning

Do you remeber that pup you sold us back a few years ago named Buddy , his

parents are daks Jordans Roxy and Articus vom Phylaxis?

Well just wanted to let you know he is doing great, he has settled down since his third birthday just like we were told by others , he did just that.

Buddy has been the best dog we have owned and we hope when the time comes to find another rottweiler just as stable and handsome as Buddy is.

Please if you are ever in the area drop in we are still in the same house.

Thank you from the Morrison Family

wonderful pictures!!!!!!!!

They are getting SO big!  And you have sun, green grass and your son is in

shorts!!! Wonderful!!!

I'm so glad you picked out Ryza for me!  She has such a lovely expression on

her face!  Such a pretty girl!

It must be fun taking them outside and watching them frolic in the sun.

Thank you again!

Have to work this weekend in the office :( the only good thing is I bring my

dogs with me. Oh well, I have already booked off seven weeks from July

Dear Angela.,We cannot thank you enough for everything you did, it

was a real pleasure meeting you , Kenya & Aragorn,

what beauties they are! and so sweet, we really

enjoyed you bringing them, I'm sorry we couldn't stay

longer, but we really had to make our way back, I hope

you got back home safe and sound, we made it back at

about 12:30 am, with a house full of friends waiting

to greet Marcus to his new home, they filled up the

house with balloons, large banner saying "Welcome home

Marcus" food, cocktails, jazz music - it was lovely,

at First Marcus was growling at Ciotto, then as they

got to know each

other it seem to stop, i attribute

that to just establishing rank and order - right? then

this morning he snapped at Ciotto but Ciotto being

Very submissive always runs away, so there is no

chance of contact, plus he is starting the puppy

classes this week all this i think will help..right??any suggestion??

Continued...

YOU ARE SO RIGHT! That is exactly what he his going through, believe me

i did not reinforce that behavior, and they are

becoming the very best of friends,, we love him so...

he is the cutest  little thing (Not so little actually)

Dear Angela you have some great pictures coming your

way, one of my very best friend is a known pet

photographer and she is going nuts on him, all we hear

that trouble,, as long as i have everything he got and

the date,, it's all i need, Angela, Kenya and Aragorn

are precious they make the best puppies, Marcus is a

sweetheart, HE LOVES PEOPLE even throught his fear

period, he wants to go see them and be petted , what a

frinedly calm docile pup, i cannot thank you enough (

i really can't) you should be so happy to know that he

has such a loving home surrounded by loving people,,

we have frined dropping in constanly, i have been

blessed with good friends that are sweet and gentlewith my babies....

Gv and MarcusP.S> wait ti'll you see the pictures - you are goingto die!!!

so now i resulted to answer this,,"Io sono italiano, non parla inglese - ciao!!"

-[I am italian , don't speak english , bye]

nothing worse than friendly new yorkers,

Hi Angela,

Thought I'd give you an update!  Little Ryza is fitting in just fine!  She

is everything you said she would be, and boy is she playful. She loves

tugging on anything and we play lots of tugs  and she loves retrieving.

Terre Moto my male, is still being a wiener.  He will get used to her.  At

least he lets her play with most of the toys!  My female, Molly, has never

been that playful and is fine with Ryza.

We had a really nice picnic at Kootatsoon Lake last weekend and lots of fun.

Took quite a few pictures.  Pups grow so quickly, that they will soon be

past that little puppy stage!

Her one ear is up with no tapping. The other ear, is almost completely

healed just a bit of a scab at the bottom, and I suspect it will stand up

without help. I will give it another 10 days and see.

I was in the dog jog (raising money for the Humane Society). It started in

Rotary Park and we walked to Riverdale (where I live) I had Molly & Terre.

Then I left them home and picked up Ryza.  She had lots of fun. We didn't

jog, just walked.  She was pretty tired when we finished.  It was

interesting, while we were at wind up ceremony, a young man came up and

asked me if Ryza was a Cane Corso!  See, she must look very type. I asked

the fellow how he knew and he said he read up on all sorts of breeds.  Noone

else has been able to tell what she is.

Took her in for her 10 week shots on Monday.  The vet found her in fine

health.  She weighed in at 21 pounds! I think a few pounds could be

contributed to grass and flowers as she seems to eat everything in my

garden!  (Nothing is toxic).

O.k. all for now. Hope you are well and everyone and everydog is good at

your place.

 Take care!   Susan

O.k. I'm going to see if I can post.  She is such a sweetie.  And just adores children.  She played for 90 minutes last night with a friends two kids and was just beat!  Yes, getting sleep now.  She is the most observant little pup. She even looks up when she sees a plane!  And is retrieving dumbells already, and loves playing on her tug.

Plus she 'tracks' like a demon!  Yesterday, on our walk, she found a dead vole (like a mouse) and kept picking it up and carrying it.  I would get her to 'out' and kick it off the trail and she would put her nose down and find it. This went on for 3 times and I finally picked up the poor dead thing and tossed it really far into the bush.  My Shar-pei now play with her and my male even bites off her whiskers!  He bites off all the whiskers of my dogs.  I had a friend scan these pictures I have a few more that I will try and send later.  Taking pictures of a very dark dog is quite a bit trickier than taking a picture of a light dog!  Take care and I still have to send you my agreement, haven't forgotten! I just love her! Susan
